Katherine received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the NY College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, LI.  Afterwards she completed the Acupuncture Fellowship program at Beth Israel Hospital in NY. Her focus was Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Hospice, General Surgery, Oncology and Psychiatry.  For her private practice, Katherine had an office in Astoria, Queens for almost 15 years.  She now practices in Fairfield, CT. 

 

Katherine practices the Balance Method, as taught by the late Dr. Richard Tan and Dr. Eileen Han.  Treatments include addressing various types of joint and body pain, digestive disorders, urinary difficulties, asthma and allergies, menstrual/fertility/pregnancy symptoms, as well as anxiety, insomnia, and stress management.
